De Stijl Love is just what the name implies, this piece of digital art is an homage to the De Stijl Art Movement that had it's heyday in the early part of the last century but remains popular today. De Stijl designs are geometric and are based on the three primary colors red, yellow and blue in their purest form along with the shades of black, white and gray.
I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.
