Diamonds and De Stijl is artwork inspired by the De Stijl Art Movement that had its heyday in the early part of the last century. It's use of bold graphic design and use of primary colors is the reason why it is even more popular today than it ever was.
I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.

Thank you Charles, your positive critique means a lot to me.

A great composition, Tara. Well done. The color patterns and the use of geometric shapes and lines give a very unique effect.
