Artist's Description
This painting is an homage to the great artist Fernand Leger and is loosely based on his 1942 painting La Danse. This painting has a gray background and lighter color palette and much has been much changed from the original as it is meant to be a loose interpretation, hence the title: Leger Light & Loose.
About Tara Hutton
I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.
