Artist's Description
Vampere is a French interpretation of the word vampire I found while reading
"Interview With A Vampire" by Anne Rice. I painted an entire series of paintings in what I call Gothic Art Deco. This acrylic on canvas painting was painted specifically for a Day of the Dead event in San Francisco.
About Tara Hutton
I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.
