It's Mid Century, It's Heavy Metal, It's Assemblage! It's a serious effort to try a
different format with different techniques. The background is infused with
pumice gel to give a textured effect. The metal on the painting is hardware from
a home improvement store.
I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.
