Artist's Description
Blue Steel is from my collection of original Art Deco inspired digital art. For this piece I used a limited color palette of slate blue and steel gray. Blue Steel is a tribute to Machine Age Streamline graphic art of the 1930's and early 1940's.
About Tara Hutton
I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.
