The Confession is from my Romantic Gothic series of paintings.The rosary and the troubled look on this ladies face are that of a woman who has sinned and is suffering mentally with a heavy dose of Catholic guilt. I intentionally made the skin-tone powdery white. The color palette used is shades of red, rust, brown and amber.

I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.
