A new take on one of my oldest paintings titled Nefertiti and Night. I photographed and reversed the image to create the Egyptian Twins and used the papyrus font for the wording. The colors used are those of ancient Egypt, gold, lapis blue and turquoise.
I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.
