Artist's Description
Bette Davis, the iconic Hollywood legend as she was circa 1941, The original is a colored pencil and ink drawing. For this enhanced revised version I used a monochromatic all blue color palette as Miss Davis had the most extraordinary blue eyes.
About Tara Hutton
I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.
