Artist's Description
Primary Passion, is part of my De Stijl collection. Artwork that is an homage to famed artists like Mondrian. De Stijl is based on the three primary colors red, yellow, and blue. The De Stijl art movement had it's heyday in the early part of the last century but is still much alive today.
About Tara Hutton
I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.
