Artist's Description
This mid century modern design is meant to convey movement. It's comprised of geometric shapes and shadows on a background of warm orange light on the left and darker on the right. The monochromatic color palette is in sunset inspired shades of orange with yellow. This artwork was inspired by graphic mid century patterns popular in the 1950's.
About Tara Hutton
I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.
