The De Stijl Dolls was created as an homage to the De Stijl art movement which had it heyday in the early part of the last century, Colors associated with De Stijl are the 3 primary colors as well as black, white and gray. This painting is a 3 panel triptych.

I paint in a slightly exaggerated, stylized way using geometric and curvilnear shapes and lines. I am most inspired by cinema and the Golden Age of Hollywood which encompasses the Art Deco and Mid Century Eras. My work is considered to be glamorous and people most remember my artwork by the way I paint eyes. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also do colored pencil, ink and digital artwork, as well. My love for Architecture and Design is equal to the love I have for Fine Art. I love the world of art and I hope you enjoy what I've created.
